The Four Horsemen: a reviewTo cut to the chase, the following is a description of the illuminated manuscript illustration. This was modeled after the original illuminated manuscripts, specifically the Book of Kells. Generally, these were Medieval Bibles that contained extremely detailed illustrations and are particularly famous for their Insular art, more commonly known as Celtic knotwork. In the case of this piece, I decided on using the four horsemen from the Book of Revelation as the subject matter.
