Oz: Winkie

For my portfolio class, I'm creating a series of character designs with this set including certain ones from "The Wizard of Oz" story. When I did some thinking about how I wanted to design the Winkies, I thought of a favorite Rembrandt: "The Night Watch". [link] The Winkie here is strongly modeled after Lieutenant Willem van Ruytenburch and it was just perfect that his outfit also happens to be a yellow hue, the color of the Winkies. And to make the outfit more whimsical, I added clogs. Anyway, you can read more of the details in the notes.
